They came, they rode, they spent.
That seems to be the general consensus of business owners and tourism officials as the postmortem of the 80th annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally begins. Intitial uncertanity over the number of bikers who would come to the Hills due to COVID-19 concerns was replaced by optimism and satisfaction with the attendance and money made during the Rally.
Official numbers won’t be released for some time, but the consensus seems to be that, although it didn’t become the all-timer it could have, the 80th Rally more than held its own.
