Although forecasters had predicted six to 10 inches of snow for Custer from the Thanksgiving weekend storm, most of Custer County fared pretty well, with only moderate amounts of snow and relatively few storm-related incidents.
“All in all, it was pretty mild,” reported Custer County Sheriff Marty Mechaley on sunny Monday morning after the storm had passed and the snow was already beginning to melt.
