Doris Tweden

Doris Tweden was born in Sioux City, Iowa, on Dec. 8, 1946, to Albert and Jane (Garretson) Tweden.
Doris was an LPN that worked in nursing homes in various states. The majority of her nursing career was at the state hospital working with the mentally and physically handicapped.
Doris, of Custer, S.D., passed away Jan. 14, 2024, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimers. She was 77.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Kenneth Kewley.
Doris is survived by her children, sons, Mike (Cheryl) Kewley of Kuna, Idaho, and Albert (Blayke) Gosselin of Piedmont, S.D., and daughters, Melissa (Anthony) Rush of Custer,  and Anna (Thad) Delaney of Custer; as well as 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson.
Private family services will be held.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley’s Funeral Home in Custer.
