John Dyvig

John “Jack” Dyvig leaves a legacy of strength, love and faith.
Jack, of Sioux Falls, S.D., passed away Wednesday, April 10, 2024, at Touchmark at all Saints in Sioux Falls. He was 89.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Martha Dyvig; beloved wives, Charlotte and Cheryl; son, Leigh Dyvig; stepdaughter, Kirsten John; granddaughter, Marci Eng; and one great granddaughter.
He is survived by sons, Mark (Amy) Dyvig and Cameron (Mary) Dyvig; daughter-in-law, Terry Dyvig; daughters, Judi Jones and Sherri (Danny) Bitterman; grandchildren, Alan (Jennifer), Dale, Gordy (Linda), Charles (Melissa), Colin (Deesha), Cody (Bri), Jessie (Justin), Chris (Nicole), Cody (Cadence), Beau, Alex, Amy (Derek) and Emily (Travis); 31 great-grandchildren; 49 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Friday, April 19, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Sioux Falls.  Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, April 18 at George Boom Funeral Home & On-Site Crematory in Sioux Falls.  
Interment services will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sioux Falls.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for future designation to the Sioux Falls Optimist Club or to Our Savior’s Lutheran Church.
