Patricia Fritz

Patricia Alvina Fritz was born March 18, 1934, to Herman and Marcella (Schriver) Blaeser. She met the love of her life, Donald Fritz, in 1951 and they married in 1952.  
They farmed together for 50 years in the Gary, S.D., area and retired to Custer, S.D., in 2002, loving their brand new home. Patricia was known as Patricia, Ma, Pat and Mom. She will be remembered for her pretty smile and always being welcoming, caring, fun and loving.
Patricia, formerly of Custer, passed away March 10, 2023, at Pine Hills Retirement Community in Hot Springs, S.D.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; brothers, Bob and Jim and Mike; and two grandchildren, Anretta and Mitch.
Patricia is survived by her sons, David (Barbara) Fritz, Steven Fritz and Stanley (Sandy) Fritz; daughters, Donna (Terry) Smith and Debra (Stephen) Davis; brothers, Tom (Janette) Blaeser, David (Ermina) Blaeser, John (Gail) Blaeser and Jerry Blaeser; sister, Susan (Randall) Severs; 13 grandchildren and 27 great- grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held May 20 in Clear Lake, S.D., with committal services at Grandview Cemetery in Gary.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley’s Funeral Home in Hot Springs.
