Robert Piggott

Robert “Bob” Bernard Piggott was born May 8, 1942, in Parkersburg, W.V. to Arthur and Lottie (Atkinson) Piggott. He was a home builder along with his sons.
Bob enjoyed racing motorcycles and hill climbing four wheelers with his family on the weekends. He loved camping, hunting, fishing and sitting around a campfire with family and friends telling life’s stories.
For the last six and a half years Bob and wife (Lee Ann) traveled full time with their horses all over the country, riding and site seeing. Bob hated to pass up an ice cream shop. Bob really loved all of the people he met along the way and if you knew Bob then you knew he never met a stranger.
Bob, of Custer, S.D., passed away Nov. 7, 2021 at his residence in Custer. He was 79.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Jimmy and Jerry.
Bob is survived by his wife, Lee Ann Piggott of Custer; sons, Eddie (Leslie) Piggott, Timothy ‘Tim’ (Dorla) Piggott, Rob (Kellie) Piggott and Steven (Autumn) Piggott; stepson, John (Jan) Tennant; stepdaughter, Lisa (Madison) Williams; brothers, Tommy and Michael; sisters, Susie, Barbara, Ruth Ann and Nancy; 22 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
At the family’s request no services will be held at this time. There will be a private memorial held next summer.
