Thomas Thompson

Thomas D. Thompson of Custer, S.D., passed away in Owasso, Okla., Sept. 13, 2021. He was 75.
Thomas served in the U.S. Navy from 1964 through 1988. He enjoyed returning to the Black Hills of South Dakota as often as possible. He was a lover of animals and nature.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Henry and Mabel Ruth Welchert;  brother, Lawrence Chalmer Thompson; sister, Linda Sue Harbison; brother, Daniel Duane Thompson; and brother, Thomas John Welchert.  
Thomas is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Thompson; daughter, Laura J. Thompson-Fresenius; daughter-in-law, Jacquelyn D. Thompson-Fresenius;  grandchildren, Erika K. Brown and Robert D. Brown; sister, Gloria Ann Hawley; brother-in-law, Michael Hawley; sisters-in-law Wilma Thompson and Lilian Nugent; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will take place Nov. 22 at 2 p.m. at Green Hill Funeral Home in Owasso.
