Students, staff and visitors at Custer Jr./Sr. High and Custer Elementary will be required to wear masks for the next two weeks inside the buildings after the Custer School District Board of Education voted to require them at a special meeting last Friday.
Passionate pleas were heard on both sides of the argument, but members of the school board declared they were following the COVID-19 policy laid out before the school year in moving to level two protocols at the two Custer schools, while remaining at level one (no masks) at Hermosa School.
