Diane Hillman

Diane Hillman was born May 13, 1934, in Ableman, Wis., to Reuben and Ida Stoeckmann. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.
Diane married Robert Hillman in 1957, who preceded her in death.  Diane was a faithful member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League and was always loving and supportive to family and friends.
Diane died Sept. 12, 2024. She was 90.
She is survived by her son, Kirk Hillman of Custer, S.D.; daughter-in-law, Anita Hillman of Custer; and granddaughter, Lauren Hillman of Hudson, Wis.
A funeral service to remind us of God’s blessings will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Custer.
Interment with her husband Robert will be at the Black Hills National Cemetery near Sturgis, S.D. at 3 p.m.
A memorial has been established to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Arrangements have been placed in the care of Chamberlain McColley’s Funeral Home in Custer.
