Jerry Lampert

Jerry Jack Lampert, a devoted husband, loving father, and doting grandfather, passed away March 8, 2025, at the age of 82.
Born in Custer, S.D., Jan. 5, 1943, to parents Jack and Dorothy Lampert, Jerry lived a life defined by integrity, service and unwavering dedication to his family.
Jerry honorably served his country for 20 years as a decorated member of the U.S. Navy achieving the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Following his service, he continued contributing to national defense through a distinguished 30+ year career as a defense contractor. He held a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Business Administration, using his knowledge and expertise to make a lasting impact in his field.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jerry was a man of deep character: honest, respectable, and steadfast in his values. He recently celebrated 60 wonderful years of marriage with the love of his life, Michi Lampert, whom he met while stationed in Yokosuka, Japan, during his time in the Navy. Their bond was one of love, partnership and true devotion to one another.
Jerry is survived by his beloved wife, Michi Lampert; his sons, Stephen and Christopher Lampert; his daughters-in-law, Katie and Johanna Lampert; and his cherished grandchildren, Lauren and DJ Lampert. He also leaves behind his brothers, Phil and Bob Lampert; and a legacy of love and honor that will continue to inspire those who knew him.
Jerry’s life was a testament to service, family, and integrity. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered by those who had the privilege of knowing him.
