Nick was born May 28, 1958, in Woodland, Calif., to Edwin and Joyce (Bishop) Constant.

He immersed himself in God’s word, studying continually and was ordained as the Pastor of the Lakota Baptist Church in Sioux Falls, S.D., in March of 1997. He remained a bi-vocational pastor most of the remainder of his life.
His ministries included youth ministry as part of The Well, prison ministry at the penitentiary in Sioux Falls and addiction ministry at the Keystone Treatment Center in Canton, S.D. He shared his faith and his testimony with many and stood strong in his salvation.
Nick’s passion was for the Lord, his children, his family, hunting and his German Shorthair pointers.  With the Lord at his side, he was out hunting with his Dad, brothers, sons and his dog every chance he could.
Nick and Linda were joined in marriage in October of 2012.  Both loving the Black Hills of South Dakota, they purchased a property in 2019 and retired there together in the spring of 2021.
