Where did you go to college?
I was born in Milwaukee, Wis. and moved to Hill City when I was 6 years old.
I attended school in Hill City first through 12th grade.
I attended Black Hills State University, graduating in 1993.

How long have you been a teacher?
I have been a teacher for 28 years; I’m currently starting my 24th year teaching at Hill City Middle School.

Grabow will take over for Krull on school board

During the Hill City School District Board of Education meeting Nov. 14, the board approved the resignation of Dennis Krull. Krull will soon be continuing his political career as a District 30 Representative.

In his stead, the board appointed Todd Grabow to fulfill Krull’s position. Grabow will be sworn in at the December school board meeting. Then in June, the Hill City School District will have an election for this appointed position which will result in a three year term.

I grew up in Crawford, Neb.

I attended Black Hills State University, but I received my teaching degree online through Ashford University.

How long have you been a teacher?

This is my second year.

4-H advisors needed

The Pennington County Board of Commissioners is now accepting applications for the 2023 SDSU/County Extension Advisory Board.

The board provides guidance and direction to the county commissioners in the development, delivery and evaluation of 4-H programs and services.

Service in the position is voluntary and no compensation will be derived. Board members are expected to attend four to six regularly scheduled meetings per year, as well as any special meetings which may be called, if needs arise.
